Description

Both fabrics are new and are seersucker with woven-in bumpiness, making a rather lightweight, comfortable cotton apron in tones of brown, cream and blue. There are two large pouch-style pockets at hand level on the skirt. The crossback style means you don’t have any ties to tie. There are two pretty cream-colored buttons fastened holing the straps in front. You can leave those buttoned while putting on the apron, or unbutton them while doing so. This can be a fast apron to put on and take off.

The empire waisted bodice is made of floral and gingham dot printed seersucker while the skirt portion of the apron is a medium brown and white printed gingham overlaid with white bouquets. All outer edges are bound in wide dark brown bias tape, and all interior seams are French style, meaning there will be no raveling.

The apron is shown on a dress form with these measurements 39½” (101.5cm) bust, 32” (91cm) waist and 44” (112cm) hips. GARMENT measurements: front length from shoulder to hemline 43” (109cm)  bust 43” (109cm), waist approximately 43” (109cm). This style apron is quite flexible as to what bodies can wear it. Remember, your body measurements should be considerably less than the apron’s so you can move and reach!

Suggested care:  hand or machine wash gentle with cool or cold water; line, rack or tumble dry on low. Color-preserving detergents like Woolite for Darks or Colorguard Cheer will prolong the life of the colors.
