Description
Apron 26 is a luscious late summer or autumn harvest print, repurposed from a cotton tablecloth that was apparently used only once. I see ripe corn, big sunflowers, peaches, red peppers, mums, pinecones, plaid ribbons, red berries and small purple flowers. Most edges of the apron are bound with red gingham bias from a repurposed cotton duvet cover, and the collar and pouch pocket are decorated with new, finely pleated white synthetic lace as well. This apron is made from a 1930s pattern and fits women’s size Small to Medium (8-16). The waist measures 30″ excluding ties, and the skirt, almost a half circle, is 21″ long at center front.
I suggest washing in color guard detergent, drying on a line, rack or dryer set on low.
Apron 192 is cut from this same 1930s pattern in different fabrics.
