Description

I would consider this a pinup style apron but I’m not sure these colors were combined midcentury. The purple, gray and azure floral body fabric is repurposed from a women’s skirt. The lavish ruffles are new fabric in a solid hot pink. The skirt is almost a half circle. There are two medium-sized curved pockets topped with piping in the hot pink. Three pink buttons dot the center front (they’re nonfunctioning as fasteners; they’re decorative), and the front becomes a curving collar in the back. There are no raw edges:  the interior is completely faced with wide bias in a light purple.
Measurements:  skirt length from waist to hemline approximately 21”; waist circumference excluding ties 23.5”; ties 26.5” each.
This apron would need to be laundered with a color-preserving detergent in cool or warm water in a gentle cycle, or by hand washing, and dried on a clothesline, on a rack, or in a dryer at gentle settings
