Description

Rich browns, greens and yellow print on this fabric repurposed from a Tommy Bahama shirt. It’s 60% linen 40% silk woven fabric, bound in solid yellow bias. The print is a very tropical-looking plant on a brown basketweave background. I’ve added a bunch of three banana buttons at center front, and another banana button on the single pocket that was the pocket on the original shirt.

This 1940s cut will fit a modern women’s size Medium (12-16). The skirt has five gores, the bib has a V or sweetheart neckline, and the H back will stay in place as you perform your tasks or enjoy your entertaining.

The waist is 23” excluding ties. The skirt is _20” long at the sides. The upper half of the apron is somewhat long waisted so I’ve stitched extra buttonholes, making the back straps’ length adjustable by 2 inches.

Laundry care is machine wash gentle or hand wash and line or machine dry, low. I suggest Color Guard Chee ror Woolite for Darks or Tide Studio to preserve the color intensities.

Aprons N12 and N53 are this style in different fabrics.
