Description

Lovely turquoise parasols scatter over the light yellow ground amongst tiny pink flowers. The sweetheart neckline of a yoke is turquoise fabric with pink dots. The midriff area has four shaping tucks to define the waistline and release for bust freedom.
The wide H back closes with two shiny hot pink plastic buttons. The front hemline dips to a definite V in the middle. All outer edges are bound with handmade bias tape made from the dotted turquoise fabric.
The early midcentury apron has one large tulip-shaped lined pocket. Tulips seemed to occur frequently on aprons of this era. The big bloom has a curved stem made of the yoke fabric. Both fabrics are new 100% cotton.
Measurements:  waist approximately 44” (with ties tied so that the legs of the H are straight down); length from bottom of armhole to side hemline 21.5”; length from inner front neckline at shoulder to hemline 41”; ties 29.5” each.
