Description
Wear this 100% cotton apron and you will project a sweet, fragrant and crisp-as-a-daisy image, because the white squares reminiscent of seed packets feature flowers in full healthy bloom as if they’ve grown up in full sunshine.
The tapering at the waist is flattering. The 1960s minimalist style is easy to put on and to take off, and of course, being an apron, the fit is adjustable. The garment is cut to work on sizes 12, 14 or 16 depending on how tightly you tie the sashes. The all-new fabric coordinates very well with the baby pink wide bias binding and pink gingham pocket trim. The neckline is high enough to protect your clothes but not get in your way. As with many 1960s skirts, there is no waistband as such, but there are darts to create curving hip fit. Flowers are roses, poppies, buttercups and daisies.
Garment measurements: front shoulder to hemline 37” (94cm), waist approximately 36” (91cm), ties each 19” (48cm) long. Displayed on a size 14 dress form.
Care is machine wash with color guard detergent in warm or cold water, and line dry or machine dry on low temperature settings.
Aprons N24, N41 and N115 are this style in different fabrics and sizes.
