Apron 41 is cut from a 1960s pattern, using a rather faded repurposed tablecloth whose floral print I coudln’t resist. All edges are bound with green and white check bias, from a repurposed man’s shirt. This apron is quite flattering because it has a flat, tapering center panel, smooth flared skirt and vertical lines provided by the gingham bias. There are two large rectangular pockets, a buttoned back and a moderately scooped neckline. This is for women’s size Medium (12-16). The waist area measures ” excluding ties, and the skirt is 21″ long at the sides.

Recommended laundry care is wash in cool or cold water with color preserving detergent like Woolite for Darks or Colorguard Cheer, line, rack or tumble dry low. That is, unless you’d like to achieve an even more faded appearance.
