Description

You would get basically a backless halter dress. The 1930s or 1940s pattern features a slightly scalloped or sweetheart neckline, wide neck straps, tie belts that begin with stitched-down gathers at the side waists, a deeply scalloped hemline, and narrow cone-shaped pockets that look like they are meant to hold old fashioned nosegays. The body fabric is from a repurposed white cotton sheet printed with large pinky roses and bluegreen leaves, and the dusty rose bias is from new fabric. These same fabrics make up apron 50. This is for women’s size Medium, more or less. It’s somewhat forgiving. Hard for me to specify a waist measurement. The apron is approximately 33″ long from shoulder to front hemline, at the top of one of the big scallops.
