Description

This one models a 1940s pattern that is quite shapely. The body fabric is from a repurposed sheet with a large rose print in rose and green colors, on a white background that includes tone on tone white dots. This fabric is also used in  apron 54  The wide bias accents are from new dusty rose fabric. All fabrics are 100% cotton.

The bib and skirt have wide ruffles and the bib center displays an antique-looking plastic button with a rosecolored acrylic jewel. The apron has two streamlined pockets, bust fitting darts, a pointed raised waist in the center, a round collar that buttons in the back, and no raw edges. This is a women’s size Medium (12-14) and could fit Smalls as well, I think. All in all, it’s quite a frilly apron.
